Makoshika State Park (33K)
The Lakota People called Makoshika "bad earth" or "bad land." This 8,832-acre park, located on the outskirts of Glendive is filled with caprocks, pinnacles, hogback ridges and hillsides. For fossil enthusiasts, you’ll dig the remains of Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops dinosaurs which are also preserved here. Check out Montana’s State Parks.
